Ding incense burner, Chinese, beasts fantasy, meander ornament, leiwen ornament, Qing dynasty 1644–1911, ceremonial/ritual vessel, 19th century, China; vessel/censer; height 12.6 cm, width 16 cm, diameter 14.5 cm., A rounded metal vessel with a short handle and three curved legs is shown from a low frontal angle, revealing an underside with a domed bottom and a slightly flared rim. The surface shows areas of worn metallic sheen and patterned decorative engraving along the upper band. The legs and central rounded knob exhibit patches of brighter metallic highlights and darker patina, and there is a small rectangular label attached to the lower side. The visible colors include dark brown, black, gold, and hints of gray.
