Ding incense burner, Chinese, ding vessel for ceremonial/ritual use, decorated with leiwen ornament, meander ornament, and dragons; Qing dynasty 1644–1911, 19th century, China; vessel; height 12.8 cm, diameter 10.5 cm, A small three-legged metal vessel with a rounded bowl and a raised rim sits against a pale gray background, showing a dark brown to black patina with areas of greenish corrosion; the bowl has a decorative band of incised geometric and curving motifs around its middle, and a flat looped handle rises from the rim at the back; each leg curves downward like an animal limb and ends in a rounded foot, with the legs and underside exhibiting patches of green and lighter brown where the surface has worn.
