Ding incense burner, Chinese, ding ceremonial/ritual vessel with leiwen ornament, meander ornament, and dragons; Qing dynasty 1644–1911, 19th century, China; vessel; height 12.8 cm, diameter 10.5 cm., A small metal tripod vessel with a rounded bowl and two short vertical handles, standing on three curved legs that end in stylized animal-head forms; the bowl has a raised decorative band with geometric and curvilinear patterns encircling it, and the interior shows a mottled, mottled surface. The object displays dark brown and black tones with areas of greenish patina and hints of lighter brown and grey, set against a pale grey background, with reflections of the legs visible on the glossy surface beneath.
