The cup has a slightly flared rim and a short, stepped foot; its surface shows a few irregularities and subtle gloss. The blue decoration appears as flowing brushstrokes with darker and lighter blue tones concentrated on one side, creating abstract shapes and small rounded marks. The interior of the cup is the same off-white color with faint blue tints near the rim. The scene includes reflections of the cup on the glossy surface beneath it. The visible colors are gray, off-white, and various shades of blue.
