Thick grayish porcelain body with white glaze greyish tint. Decoration painted in overglaze enamel paints two shades of green, blue, yellow, red, pink, black, overglaze iron red and gilding. Body and neck each with two reserves containing figural court scenes; backgrounds with flowers, birds, butterflies and fruit; overall floral and figurative decorative scheme. Height 63 cm; diameter 28 cm., A tall ceramic vase with a flared rim and a narrow neck widening into a rounded body stands against a dark background; the vase is decorated with painted scenes framed by floral patterns and has a pair of ornate handles on the neck. The overall palette includes turquoise, pink, green, blue, red, and white, with accents of yellow and black; the rim interior is turquoise and the neck and body are covered in dense floral motifs in pink and green with blue detailing. A framed rectangular scene on the neck shows two standing figures in robes, while a larger framed scene on the body depicts a group of figures in colorful garments gathered around furniture and architectural elements, with many details in blue, red, pink, and green. The handles are light blue with perforated, scrolling shapes, and the base band features geometric panels and floral designs in blue, green, pink, and yellow.
