Fragment of a statue made of polychrome-coated feldspar with cube-shaped base of dark red marble. 19th century, China. Sculpture; height 26.0 cm., A small worn rectangular box with a distressed red exterior sits near the bottom center of the image, showing a weathered brown patch on its front and rough textured edges; behind and partially above the box is a pale rounded object with beige and light tan tones and a small dark area on one side; the background transitions from a dark charcoal at the top to a mid gray surrounding the objects and a lighter gray foreground.
