Small screen on a base, Chinese, Qing dynasty 1644–1911. Small screen with an oval cross-section made of pale green jadeite. Engraved decoration: composition with pine, grass, lingzhi mushrooms on rocks; at the top a crescent with the inscription yue. Wooden base, elongated, tapering on the shorter side; on four short legs one broken off. Bulging side inlaid with silver wire. 18th–19th century, China. Sculpture; screen. Dimensions: sculpture height 14.3 cm, width 9.1 cm; base height 8.7 cm, width 4.7 cm., A pale green carved stone object stands upright on a smooth surface against a dark gray to lighter gray gradient background, showing a softly polished, slightly translucent texture. The object has an irregular, organic shape with rounded tops and a sculpted relief pattern resembling leaves and floral forms, including a rounded cluster of small petal-like shapes and elongated leaf-like carvings. The stone displays subtle variations in green tones, from very light green to creamy off-white highlights, with faint natural veins and slight translucency at thinner edges. Shadows fall softly beneath and to the left of the object, and the overall scene features colors of pale green, creamy white, light gray, and dark gray.
