Small screen on a base, Chinese, Qing dynasty 1644–1911. Small screen with an oval cross-section made of pale green jadeite. Engraved decoration: composition with pine, grass, lingzhi mushrooms on rocks; at the top a crescent with the inscription yue. Wooden base, elongated, tapering on the shorter side, on four short legs one broken off. Bulging side inlaid with silver wire. 18th–19th century. Sculpture; screen. Dimensions: height 14.3 cm, width 9.1 cm; base height 8.7 cm, width 4.7 cm., A pale green and white carved stone object with smooth rounded tops stands upright on the right, showing subtle veining and lighter patches of cream and very light yellow; on the left sits a dark brown, almost black low wooden stand with a shallow rectangular inset and decorative carved patterns on its sides, with hints of reddish brown in the inset and on small feet, all set against a soft light gray background.
