Plaque-lid, maker, 19th century Qing dynasty 1644–1911, China. Bas-relief carved jade plaque-lid with engraving, depicting bats and plant motifs; three double recesses on the bottom. Height 14.2 cm, width 15.4 cm., A smooth, round object with a pale green, almost white surface sits against a dark gray to black gradient background, showing subtle carved relief patterns and gentle glossy highlights; the object rests on a small clear support casting a faint shadow onto a light gray surface below.
