Outer wall decorated with motifs of butterflies, bats, and the shou symbol of longevity made of semi-precious stones set in settings; background shows a plant twig with filigree. Function: vessel/container. Materials: jadeite and semi-precious stones. Dimensions: height 5.0 cm, width 6.6 cm, depth 8.2 cm, weight 0.17 kg., A small ornate circular box sits centered on a smooth surface, featuring a pale translucent lid with carved raised details and a patterned gold-colored band around the sides decorated with a few rounded green, pink, and red stones and several carved pale insets; the metal band shows intricate scrolling designs and small beaded accents. The scene includes a gradient background shifting from mid-gray at the top to light gray near the surface, and the predominant colors visible are gold, pale white, green, pink, red, and various shades of gray.
