Vessel and lid: lid height 2.3 cm, diameter 8.8 cm; vessel height 3.5 cm, diameter 8.9 cm; base height 1.8 cm, diameter 8.8 cm; box height 3.1 cm., A round carved object with a raised decorative lid sits against a gray background; the object is predominantly a deep red with areas of darker red and small patches of black where material is missing, the lid surface features a carved flowing fish-like form surrounded by textured wave-like carvings and floral shapes, and the sides display a repeating geometric stepped pattern in the same red tone.
