Censer, Chinese, Qing dynasty 1644–1911, 18th century. Bronze ritual/ceremonial vessel censer with elephant motifs; backdated signatures. Dimensions: height 9.7 cm, width 11.3 cm., A small metal vessel with a flared rim and a rounded body sits on ornate legs, showing a brown surface with scattered gold patches; it has a pair of decorative handles with curled ends and sculpted detailing, and the three legs terminate in stylized animal-like feet, all reflected faintly on a smooth gray surface beneath; the background is a uniform light gray.
