Belt clasp, Chinese, Qing 1644–1911, 17th–18th century. Gray-beige jadeite with chalcedony inclusions. Full-sculpture head; shaft: bas-relief, engraving. Decorated with cicadas and dragons iconography. Belt buckle, height 1.8 cm, width 9.2 cm, depth 1.1 cm., A smooth, curved carved object resting on a flat surface, with a gradient background from gray at the top to white near the bottom. The carving has a pale greenish-white section blending into a darker brown section, with a small yellowish accent near one end. The piece casts a soft shadow on the white surface and has rounded, organic contours resembling a flowing, elongated shape.
