Belt clasp, Chinese, Qing 1644–1911, 17th–18th century. Gray-beige jadeite with chalcedony inclusions. Full-sculpture head; shaft: bas-relief, engraving. Subject: cicadas and dragons. Belt buckle; height 1.8 cm, width 9.2 cm, depth 1.1 cm., A small curved carved object lying horizontally on a smooth white surface, appearing to be made of a polished stone with a gradient of colors from pale cream and light yellow on one end to warm brown and darker brown on the other, with a round disk-shaped support beneath its center, soft shadows beneath the object, and a neutral gray to white gradient background.
