Jadeite with chalcedony inclusions. 17thβ19th century, China, belt buckle, height 2.1 cm, width 10.6 cm, depth 1.8 cm., A small carved object made of a smooth pale stone in shades of cream, beige, and light brown rests horizontally on a white surface with a soft gray gradient background; the carving has a gently curved elongated body with rounded ends and a raised rounded support underneath, and one end is carved into a stylized head with subtle facial features while the upper surface shows low-relief ornamental shapes and slight variations in color and translucency.
