Belt clasp, Chinese, dragons iconography, dragon with pearl, Qing 1644–1911. Head in the shape of a two-horned dragon's head with an open mouth; stem a dragon playing with a flaming pearl. Dark milky jadeite, translucent with inclusions dirty green. Head and stem carved in full relief. 19th century, China. Belt buckle. Height 3.1 cm, width 11.6 cm, depth 2.3 cm., A pale greenish-white carved stone object in the shape of a stylized animal with a long curved body and a carved head rests on a light surface, casting a soft shadow; the object shows smooth rounded forms, textured ridges along its back, a curled tail with a small hole, and subtle variations of creamy, off-white, and translucent green tones.
