Belt clasp, Chinese, Qing dynasty 1644–1911, 18th–19th century. Milky-white translucent jade. Shaft in flat relief; head carved in full relief. Iconography: cicadas and dragons. Belt buckle; height 2.4 cm, width 10.7 cm, depth 2.1 cm., A pale, translucent carved object rests on a smooth surface against a gradient gray background, appearing to be made of a creamy off-white material with subtle yellowish tones; the form includes a curved, elongated body with a rounded base support and a hooked, stylized head at one end, the main curved section showing carved ridges and textured patterns along its upper edge and smooth areas along its underside, casting a soft shadow on the surface beneath.
