Belt clasp, Chinese, Qing dynasty 1644–1911, 18th–19th century. Milky-white translucent jade. Carved with cicadas and dragons; shaft in flat relief, head carved in full relief. Belt buckle; height 2.4 cm, width 10.7 cm, depth 2.1 cm., A pale, translucent carved object with a curved, elongated form rests on a flat surface, showing smooth and slightly glossy textures; one end features a rounded head-like shape with subtle carved facial details and a short raised element, while the opposite end tapers into a broader, textured section with shallow incised patterns and a ridged spine; a small rounded support sits beneath the midsection, casting a soft shadow, and the background transitions from light gray at the bottom to darker gray toward the top, with visible colors including off-white, cream, pale yellow, gray, and a hint of beige.
