Belt clasp. Head in the shape of a one-horned dragon's head with a curved muzzle. Smooth, rounded handle. Milky-white jadeite, slightly translucent. Full-sculpture carved head, engraved. 17th–18th century, Qing 1644–1911, China. Dragons iconography. Belt buckle. Height 1.7 cm; width 9.4 cm; depth 2.1 cm., A smooth, pale off-white object rests on a flat surface against a gradient gray background; the object has an elongated, gently curved form with one end carved into an ornate sculptural head featuring layered, petal-like and curved motifs, while the opposite end tapers to a smooth rounded tip; the surface shows subtle variations in translucency and a few faint darker specks, and there is a soft shadow beneath and slightly to one side of the object; visible colors include off-white, pale cream, gray, and touches of darker gray in the shadow.
