Decorated in Imari palette with motifs of bamboos, pines, and plums — the Three Friends of Winter — associated with sake vessels; Japanese ceramicist/author unknown., A ceramic vase with a long narrow neck and a bulbous body, shown against a plain gray background. The vase is primarily white with visible crackle glazing and is decorated with painted floral and botanical motifs in dark blue, orange, green, red, and gold. The neck features dark blue leaf-like shapes and small orange and green flowers, while the rounded body displays dark blue branches and stylized foliage, orange and red flowers, green leaves, and gold-accented blossoms. A dark blue band encircles the lower body above a narrow foot ring, and the base reflects softly on the surface below, showing muted gray and the vase’s painted patterns.
