Rectangular tsuba with rounded sides nadegaku gata, decorated on both sides with a karakusa floral tendril motif on a blue background, made with the cloisonné enamel cloisonné technique and stylized after Chinese enamel wares. Unsigned. Materials: enamel. Function: sword crossguard katana. Dimensions: height 7.4 cm, width 6.8 cm, depth 0.5 cm., A small rectangular object with rounded corners sits against a neutral gray background, displaying a decorative top surface with a blue base color and a pattern of curling green vines and red-orange flower shapes outlined in dark lines; the edges and sides are a worn brown metal tone, and there is a narrow recessed slot in the center of the top surface.
