Gui-type bowl, Chinese, Qing dynasty 1644–1911, 2nd half 18th century. Porcelain vessel referencing a ritual gui shape; supported by a low ring-shaped foot. Walls decorated with three horizontal rows of small convex knobs reminiscent of archaic ruding nailhead decoration, framed by a thin rim at the bottom and a band framing the spout at the top. Two stylized handles on either side echo the ancient prototype. Upper part decorated with cicada larvae arranged in a rosette. Height 4.5 cm; width 13 cm; diameter 7.2 cm., A pale beige stone bowl with two symmetrical handles sits centered on a smooth gray surface against a dark gray gradient background; the bowl has a rounded body with a banded base and a pattern of raised rounded bumps on its exterior, and the handles extend outward with rectangular top and bottom elements, all showing subtle variations of beige, cream, and light brown tones.
