The vase is set on a tall, conical foot flaring downwards and terminating in a metal ring, decorated with a lotus tendril. The neck is short and wide, also topped with a metal ring, below which is a border composed of ruyi heads. The belly and neck are decorated with a continuous composition of flowers and plum branches against a red Chinese meander background. 1st half of the 19th century; China; vessel.
