Vase, noted. Chinese, Qing dynasty 2nd half of the 18th century. Cloisonné enamel vase with long, wide neck on a separate ring-shaped foot, flattened spherical belly decorated overall with a dense, multicolored lotus tendril motif. Foot has an ornamental band of small flowers and leaves. Upper neck rim features a border of ruyi-heads; neck ends with a thick ungilded metal ring. Height 37.8 cm; diameter 15.5 cm., A tall, bulbous vase with a narrow neck and flared rim, covered in intricate floral and vine patterns in a dominant blue background with teal leafy motifs; the surface features several stylized flowers in colors including red, yellow, green, purple, white, and pink, arranged in repeating medallion-like forms; the rim and base have a thin metallic brown band, and a ring of small floral motifs in various colors encircles the base; the overall palette is dominated by shades of blue and teal with accents of red, yellow, green, purple, white, pink, and brown.
