Vase, cloisonné enamel, Qing dynasty 2nd half of the 18th century, China. Vase with a long, wide neck supported on a separate ring-shaped foot, with a flattened spherical belly. Main decoration: dense, multi-colored lotus tendril surrounding the entire surface. Foot decorated with an ornamental band of small flowers and leaves. Upper edge of the neck at the rim decorated with a border of ruyi auspicious scepter heads. Neck ends with a thick, ungilded metal ring. Height 37.8 cm; diameter 15.5 cm., A tall, bulbous vase with a narrow neck and flared mouth, decorated all over in a blue background with swirling green vine-like patterns and a repeating motif of stylized floral or sunburst shapes in colors including red, white, yellow, green, purple, and dark blue, with a band of small flower motifs around the base and a thin darker rim at the mouth and foot.
