Box with a lid. Cylindrical, spheroidal shape on a separate ring foot, with a slightly convex lid. Entire surface decorated in cloisonné enamel with multi-coloured lotus tendrils on a turquoise ground. Foot bears a band with curling silkworm-larvae motif. Rounded edge of the lid, the storage section, lower edge of the foot, interior and bottom are gilded. Bottom engraved with an inscription: made in the Qianlong era, and a workshop/guild mark yue. Qing dynasty, Qianlong period 18th century, China. Height 4 cm; diameter 6.7 cm., A rounded decorative container lid with a domed top featuring intricate floral and scroll patterns in blue, gold, red, green, purple, and black, set against a speckled light blue background; the edge of the lid and a band near the base have gold trim, and the overall object shows fine metalwork lines and ornamental flourishes.
