Box with a lid, cloisonné enamel, Qianlong period Qing dynasty, 18th century, China. Cylindrical spheroidal box on a separate ring foot with a slightly convex lid, decorated overall with multi-coloured lotus tendrils on a turquoise ground; foot with a band of curling silkworm-larvae motif. Rounded edge of lid, body rim, lower edge of foot, interior and bottom gilded. Bottom bears an engraved signature made in the Qianlong era and a workshop/guild mark yue. Pair of two similar items that differ slightly in shape, height, and ornamentation. Container, height 4 cm, diameter 6.7 cm., A rounded decorative object with a domed lid and a short cylindrical base, featuring an overall light blue background with ornate floral and scrollwork patterns outlined in gold; the motifs include stylized flowers and leaves in colors such as red, dark blue, green, black, and pale yellow, with gold borders along the rim and base, and the surface shows small speckling and subtle signs of wear.
