Cloisonné enamel vase with neck; decoration of lotuses, peonies, chrysanthemums, lotus tendril ornament, meander ornament, cranes, deer, tigers, other zoomorphic motifs, and birds and animals depicted in circular medallions on a turquoise plant-background. Two stylized handles on the sides of the neck. Height 33.0 cm, diameter 15.0 cm, weight 1.7 kg., A decorative vase with a flared rim and a long neck that widens into a rounded body, featuring a handle on the neck; the surface is covered in intricate floral and foliate patterns in shades of turquoise, light blue, dark blue, green, black, white, red, gold, and brown; several circular medallions on the body contain stylized birds and lotus motifs in white, black, red, and green against dark backgrounds, surrounded by scrolling blue and turquoise arabesques and small floral elements; a band of repeating geometric motifs in gold and brown encircles the base, and a narrow band with floral accents in black, white, and gold separates the neck and shoulder; the rim and base edges show metallic gold coloring.
