Decoration: fish and crabs on a turquoise background, archaizing inscription on the neck. 19th century, China. Vessel; height 23.5 cm, diameter 9.3 cm., A rounded vase with a flared neck and gold rim, primarily turquoise blue with swirling wave patterns, decorated with several stylized fish in black, red, white, and gold, along with green lotus leaves and stems; the neck features a band of repeated vertical block-like motifs in dark blue on a lighter blue background and a narrow decorative border in red, gold, and blue beneath the rim, while the foot has a green and white wave-like pattern above a thin gold base.
