Vase on a foot with a neck; decoration: ducks on a turquoise background and an archaizing inscription on the neck; iconography includes longevity shou; height 23.3 cm; vessel., A ceramic vase against a neutral gray background with a bright turquoise-blue ground decorated with a group of stylized ducks in vivid colors, including deep blue, red, white, green, gold, black, and yellow; the body shows swirling linear patterns in a slightly darker turquoise with green leaf-like motifs, and several ducks rendered with layered feathers in blue, red, gold, white, and black; the neck features a band with ornamental motifs in turquoise, blue, black, and gold beneath a gold rim, and the foot is bordered with a green and gold wave pattern above a gold base that reflects faintly on the surface below.
