Round cloisonné enamel plate, Qing dynasty, 19th century, China. Round plate with a flat bottom, without a distinct facet, arched rim on a low ring foot; height 2 cm, diameter 14.7 cm. Mirror decorated with a tondo surrounded by a multicolored lotus tendril; the tondo shows a cricket in motion perching on a flowering plant, positioned at the left, with flowering plants dominating the composition. Outer rim filled with medallions depicting stylized lotus and peach symbols, surrounded by cloud-like projections. Underside of the bottom covered with single-color turquoise enamel., A shallow round dish with a low foot, shown in profile, resting on a flat surface; the dish has a bright turquoise-blue background decorated with a repeating pattern of cloud-like motifs and round medallions in colors including yellow, navy, maroon, white, and black, with thin metallic gold outlining around the rim and along the base; the surface shows subtle variations in color and a soft shadow beneath the dish on a neutral light-gray background.
