Vase, gift, revindication; ovoid elongated cloisonné enamel vase with a short, thin, strongly flared neck. Decoration: four reserves depicting blossoming cherry, apple tree, wisteria, and lilies on a navy blue background. Japanese, ca. 1910–1920 Meiji/Taisho periods. Vessel. Height 15.5 cm; diameter 6.0 cm., A tall, narrow vase with a flared rim standing against a plain gray background, predominantly deep blue with panels of off-white on its sides showing a painted branch with blossoms in pale pink and white and green leaves, decorative accents in shades of blue, teal, gold, and brown around the neck and base, and a reflective surface beneath the vase showing a muted reflection.
