Incense burner koro with cover by Kinkozan Sobei VII 1867–1927, Kinkozan workshop; decorated in Kyoto Akata/Awata style, Meiji period 19th/20th century. Ceramic satsuma censer okimono with wisteria and chrysanthemum floral decoration; tripod form with two handles. Signed. Height 7.8 cm; diameter 9.5 cm., A round ceramic vessel with a wide open top stands on three short pointed feet and has two small loop handles; the surface is decorated with hanging floral motifs in shades of purple, blue, and green on a cream background, and the rim, feet, and handles are highlighted in gold with a patterned gold band around the mouth; the background is gray.
