Lemon-shaped paperweight, Chinese, Qing dynasty 1644–1911, 18th–19th century. Carved as a Buddha's hand fingered lemon. Sculpture in stone; height 6.0 cm, width 9.7 cm, depth 5.7 cm., A roughly irregular, translucent stone sits on a smooth surface, showing a mix of warm reddish-orange and brown tones blended with areas of milky white and pale cream. The stone has glossy, polished facets and rougher, textured sections with visible layering and internal banding. The background transitions from dark charcoal at the top to a lighter gray near the bottom, casting a soft shadow of the stone toward the left. The overall scene features colors including red, orange, brown, white, cream, gray, and charcoal.
