Lemon-shaped paperweight, creator unknown, Chinese, Qing dynasty 1644–1911, 18th–19th century. Carved as a Buddha's hand fingered lemon. Sculpture; height 6.0 cm, width 9.7 cm, depth 5.7 cm., A small irregular stone-like object rests on a smooth surface, showing a textured, bumpy form with glossy and translucent areas; its surface displays shades of brown, reddish-brown, orange, amber, cream, and pale gray, with darker brown patches and lighter translucent sections that catch the light, and a soft shadow extends from the object across the surface.
