Vessel., Chinese, Qing 1644–1911. Early 18th century. Gray-green jade, hollowed. Tall vessel on four feet with rounded edges; dragon-shaped handle at the narrower side. Entire surface covered in bas-relief motifs of clouds and mythological creatures dragons, clouds. Height 9.0 cm; width 14.0 cm; depth 6.5 cm., A carved object rests on a smooth surface, shown from a low frontal angle with a backdrop that shifts from dark gray at the top to lighter gray near the bottom. The object has an elongated hollow form with an irregular opening and textured exterior, displaying a mix of green, pale green, brown, and beige tones with mottled patches and subtle veining. The surface includes carved protrusions and rounded shapes around the rim and one side, and the interior shows smoother, slightly glossy surfaces with similar green and brown coloration. Shadows fall beneath and slightly to one side of the object, and the overall scene is evenly lit with soft light.
