Bowl, Islamic art, Arabic culture, geometric motifs; decoration with braided and arabesque motifs in cartouches; background punched. 20th century, Middle East, possibly Palestine; vessel, height 4.3 cm, diameter 5.8 cm., A metal bowl with a rounded body and a short pedestal base, shown against a light gray background; the bowl surface is primarily brassy yellow with areas of darker brown patina and worn greenish tones, with decorative circular panels on the sides bordered in a coppery pink and filled with raised silver-white intertwined motifs; a silver-white band runs near the rim, and there are engraved dark linear patterns between the panels; the interior shows darker brown and muted gold coloration with visible wear.
