Inscriptions deciphered: drinking; in the hexagonal star Gan Eden, garden; in the cartouche for celebration; under the handle, in the Seal of Solomon/Star of David Mim from the word water. Beginning of the 20th century, Palestine; vessel; height 15.5 cm, width 15.5 cm, diameter 8.7 cm., A metal pitcher with a conical base and a narrower neck and lid, showing a patinated surface in brassy gold and bronze tones with areas of darker brown; decorative raised scrollwork and motifs in silvery white and coppery pink wrap around the body and neck; a curved spout extends from the upper side and a small ornate finial tops the lid, all set against a pale gray background.
