The jar body is bulbous with a flared rim on the lid and is decorated with an overall palette of blue, red, white, and touches of green; the dominant background decorations are blue with red floral motifs and white cartouche-shaped panels that contain red floral designs and small green accents. The surface shows swirling blue patterns, red blossoms, and stylized leaves, with a band of red and blue ornamental motifs near the base and lid, and the jar rests on a white foot that reflects faintly on the surface below.
