The top edge is surrounded by a pinkish band with scalloped turquoise detailing, and several small white cup-shaped openings with smooth rims are arranged across the top. The surface shows painted leaves and a large radiating flower in pale gray and white, and a sinuous dragon-like figure in brownish-red on one side. The piece casts a soft reflection on the surface beneath it.
