Ding-type incense burner with cover, cloisonné enamel, Qing dynasty 1644–1911, 19th century, China; decorated with bats, dragons, leiwen and meander ornament, plant motifs; vessel; height 38.5 cm, width 34.5 cm., An ornate vessel with a domed lid and two upward-curving handles sits on a reflective surface, decorated primarily in rich blue with intricate swirling floral and vine patterns in green, white, red, and gold; the lid and rim feature gold bands with geometric motifs and a pierced gold finial, while the body rests on three short legs covered in the same blue and floral enamel, each leg topped by a gold lion-like mask and finished with gold bands at the feet.
