Vase with threads in the shape of bamboo twigs; maker, Chinese, Qing dynasty Qianlong period, 1736–1795. Colored porcelain vessel, height 20 cm, diameter 14.5 cm, weight 0.8 kg. Decoration: lotus tendril on the belly, artemisia leaves; lambrequin ornament on the shoulders; geometric and plant borders on the neck; plant motifs, lotus tendril ornament., A ceramic vase with a rounded body and a narrow neck flares at the rim, decorated with floral and foliate patterns in colors including blue, white, orange, green, yellow, and red; the neck features vertical leaf motifs in blue and green with an orange flower motif below, and there are two short cylindrical handles on the sides in a reddish-brown color with gold detailing; the shoulder and lower body display scrolling vines and stylized flowers in blue, green, orange, and yellow against a white ground, with bands of geometric and wave-like patterns in blue and other colors near the top and base; the piece sits on a reflective surface and the background is a uniform gray.
