The bowl is primarily white with painted decorative motifs in colors including red, pink, green, blue, yellow, and gold. A red geometric band encircles the rim, and a thin gold line runs along the top edge. Below the rim are flowing cloudlike shapes in pale green and teal, interspersed with stylized objects painted in pink, red, and green with gold highlights. The interior rim shows a repeating cloud scroll pattern in pale green and gold. The foot of the bowl is white with a narrow yellow band above it and a thin gold accent. The bowl casts a soft reflection on the surface beneath it.
