Bowl, 19th century, China, Qing 1644–1911. Spotted agate vessel, hexagonal in the upper part, on a ring foot; height 4.7 cm, diameter 8.0 cm. Decoration: morning glory; handles shaped as leafy branches with a flower. Yellow-rusty staining and black dots in the agate., A translucent cup-like object sits on a flat surface against a dark background, with a smooth rounded base and a slightly flared rim that is irregular and uneven; the object appears made of a milky, semi-opaque material showing creamy white and pale yellow tones with some darker amber areas and a few small darker inclusions; there is a curled handle-like protrusion on one side with a similar pale yellow coloration, and the surface shows subtle variations in translucency and smoothness, casting a soft shadow to one side on the surface below.
