Bowl, 19th century, China; Chinese, Qing 1644–1911. Spotted agate bowl with hexagonal upper part on a ring foot; handles formed as leafy branches with a flower. Morning glory motif. Yellow-rusty stains and black dots in the agate. Vessel; height 4.7 cm, diameter 8.0 cm., A translucent cup with two looped handles sits on a smooth surface against a dark gradient background; the cup is mostly pale cream and milky white with areas of warm yellow and small patches of darker brown, the rim is uneven and slightly jagged, and the handles show thin, delicate contours and subtle variations in opacity, casting a soft shadow on the surface beneath.
