One of the Hehe Er Xian brothers holding a vase with lotus buds, Chinese, Qing dynasty Kangxi, 1662–1722, colored porcelain sculpture of boys/children with lotuses, height 28.0 cm, weight 0.75 kg, dated 1662–1722., A small pale figurine viewed from behind standing on a rectangular base, with a smooth rounded head and visible ears, a short neck rimmed by petal-like decoration in reddish tones, a cylindrical torso with a dark circular hole on the upper back, a decorative reddish patterned band wrapped around the lower torso, short legs with pale yellow bands near the knees, and a base decorated with a mottled reddish surface and scalloped green and reddish edging; visible colors include pale off-white, reddish, yellow, green, and hints of gray.
