One of the Hehe Er Xian brothers holding a vase with lotus buds, Chinese, Qing dynasty, Kangxi period 1662–1722, colored porcelain sculpture depicting boys/children with lotuses, height 28.0 cm, weight 0.75 kg., A ceramic figurine of a child standing on a decorated base, painted primarily in white with accents of red, green, black, yellow, and pale turquoise; the child has a rounded face with closed eyes and a small smile, short black hair painted on the top of the head, a red patterned collar and red patterned garment around the waist, pale yellow bands around the lower legs, and is holding a pale turquoise vessel with a green leaf and a small beige object emerging from it; the base is white with a red patterned top surface and a scalloped green and red decorative border.
