One of the Hehe Er Xian brothers holding a vase with lotus buds; creator, Chinese; Qing dynasty, Kangxi period 1662–1722; colored porcelain; subject includes lotuses, flower vase, children/boys; sculpture; height 28.0 cm; weight 0.75 kg., A ceramic figurine shown from the back standing on a decorated rectangular base, with a glossy off-white surface and areas of light beige shading; the figure wears a red patterned wrap around the waist and a red scalloped collar design at the shoulders, and there are additional decorative bands in green and red on the base and near the lower legs; the head is rounded and smooth, the arms rest at the sides, and a dark circular hole is visible on the upper back; colors visible include off-white, beige, red, green, and black.
