Bowl on a low ring foot, decorated on the body with a rice grain rice pattern ornament and geometric and plant borders; in the central mirror a lotus flower within a double circle. 18th–19th century, China. Vessel; height 5.3 cm, diameter 10.3 cm., A small ceramic bowl with a rounded shape and a short foot, primarily white with blue decorative patterns; the rim features a band of dark blue geometric and scroll-like designs, the interior rim also showing blue motifs, and the lower exterior has a lighter blue band with wave-like patterns and scattered pale blue teardrop shapes on the white surface; the background is a smooth light gray and the bowl casts a faint reflection on the surface beneath it.
