Bowl on a low ring foot, decorated on the body with a rice grain ornament and geometric-plant borders; in the mirror a lotus flower in a double circle. 18th–19th century, China; vessel; height 5.5 cm, diameter 10.3 cm., A ceramic bowl with a glossy white surface and blue decorative patterns around the rim and base sits on a reflective surface; the rim features a darker blue band with geometric motifs and a thinner blue line below it, the interior rim also shows blue designs, and the bowl’s body displays a subtle pattern of small, pale leaf-like shapes against the white glaze, with the visible colors being white, several shades of blue, and a hint of pale green from reflections, all set against a plain light gray background.
